I help people navigate the challenges of life—whether it’s managing stress, overcoming anxiety or depression, healing from trauma, or finding balance in relationships. My goal is to support you in living a more fulfilling, emotionally stable, and resilient life.
I provide psychotherapy and
online therapy,
coaching, and consulting services to clients in Massachusetts and Maine, and sessions are available through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, making it easier for you to get support wherever you are.
BACKGROUND
As a psychotherapist I hold several licenses and credentials. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maine, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I earned a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from
Cornell University, where I discovered my passion for helping others. Later, I completed a
Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at
Northeastern University in Boston.
I have been practicing in mental health since 1991, beginning with human services agencies in New York and Massachusetts. In 2008, I founded
Aspire Counseling, which has grown to include adults and
college students. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping people overcome emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges and realize their potential.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Every client is unique, and my approach is tailored to your needs and style. I combine warmth, empathy, and a strong relational connection with evidence-based strategies. Sessions are typically interactive, helping you develop skills and insights that make a real difference.
I incorporate:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
- Mindfulness practices
All of these approaches can be delivered through
online therapy sessions.
EMDR, in particular, allows clients to work through longstanding challenges more efficiently than traditional therapy alone.
I work with adults, young adults, and
college students, helping them navigate the unique pressures of school, work, and life transitions.
LIFE COACHING
Some people reach out unsure whether they need therapy or coaching—and that’s okay. I offer both, depending on your goals. Therapy is often about healing and addressing emotional or behavioral challenges, while coaching is more future-focused. Life coaching helps you clarify goals, build confidence, and create meaningful changes in your personal or professional life. If you’re not sure which is right for you, visit my
Coaching page, and we can talk it through and choose the best approach together.
COACHING & CONSULTING FOR ORGANIZATIONS
In addition to my therapy practice, I provide coaching and consulting services for business leaders and organizations. This work is separate from therapy and focuses on leadership development, team performance, and talent assessment. I design and deliver training programs in partnership with
Burnham Rosen Group and work with corporate clients to identify and develop top-performing leaders.
